My mom left my biological-father when I was 3yr old. We moved back to Billings from Helena MT the winter of 1969/70 during one of the worst recorded blizards in Montana history. I do recall that the back seat of the car mom drove was very very cold. One grandpa driving a pickup ahead of us, the other behind us, both loaded with everything we owned. A family heirloom rocking chair fell off but we couldn't stop because the snow was coming down so hard and so fast, we might not have gotten going again.
